Certificate
Program: The eleven month clinical internship, which begins
in September, consists of lectures and microscopic instruction
daily at the Providence location. Practical experience is
gained weekly on rotation at local hospitals. Affiliate Hospitals
and Laboratories are:
Our
Lady of Fatima
Rhode Island Hospital
Memorial Hospital of RI
Women and Infants' Hospital
Quest Laboratories
Massachusetts General Hospital
Additional
experience may be achieved with seminars and meetings in the
field and participation in professional societies.
School
hours are from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. There is
a week vacation in December and another week in the Spring.
Ten holidays are observed per year and each student is allowed
a set number of interview days.

Degree
Program: In association with URI, students have the opportunity
to use their cytology internship towards a Master's degree.
Additional coursework required may be completed during or
following the internship.
